This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to act upon the petitioner's complaint dated 23.02.2025. 2.According to the petitioner, on 23.02.2025, she lodged a complaint before the second respondent as against her son and daughterin-law for the cheating committed by them, but no action was taken. Hence this petition.
3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police would submit that earlier, the petitioner lodged a complaint against her one of the sons and the same was closed after enquiry. Again, for the same set of allegations, the petitioner lodged another complaint, dated 23.02.2025 and the same is under enquiry. They will conduct enquiry and dispose of the petitioner's complaint, within a period of one week.
4.Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for in this petition and the second respondent also admitted the receipt of the 2/4
petitioner's complaint, dated 23.02.2025, this Court directs the second respondent to consider the petitioner's complaint and dispose of the same, within a period of fifteen days from the date of this order, in accordance with law.
