O R D E R

This revision is filed seeking for a direction to the learned Principal District Munsif, Madurai Town to dispose of R.C.O.P.No.186 of 2011 in a time frame.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and perused the materials available on record.

3. Mr.S.K.Naganathan, learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner, as landlord, initiated eviction proceedings against the respondent on the ground of demolition and re-construction in the year 2011. The tenant, with a view to drag on the proceedings, filed I.A.No.79 of 2013 to dismiss the eviction petition as not maintainable. However, he allowed the said petition to be dismissed for non-prosecution on 02.04.2014. Thereupon filed I.A.No.240 of 2014 to restore I.A.No.79 of 2013 and the second time also, the petition was allowed to be dismissed for non-prosecution on 11.03.2016. The delay in disposal of the eviction proceedings causes prejudice to the interest of the petitioner.

Considering the above submission and without going into the merits of the case, the learned Principal District Munsif, Madurai Town, is directed to dispose of R.C.O.P.No.186 of 2011 as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of six months from the date of receipt of copy of this order. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

5. With the above direction, this Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. No costs.
