ORDER

This Revision is filed seeking for a direction to the learned Principal District Judge, Madurai to expedite the proceedings in C.M.A.(C.S.)No.12 of 2013 within a time frame.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and perused the records.

3. Mr.S.Karthick, learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the respondent initiated surcharge proceedings against the petitioner based on a report filed under Section 81 of Tamil Nadu Co-operative Societies Act.

Against the order, the petitioner has preferred the appeal in C.M.A.(C.S.)No.12 of 2013 before the learned Principal District Judge, Madurai. However, it has been pending for the past two years without any progress. It is further submitted that due to the pendency of the appeal, the petitioner is not permitted to retire from service.

4. Considering the said submissions and without going into the merits of the case, the learned Principal District Judge, Madurai shall dispose of the appeal as expeditiously as possible, preferably on or before 31.10.2016.

5. With the above directions, the Civil Revision Petition is dispose of. No costs.
