PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 528 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), 2023, to direct the respondents herein to give police protection to the life and limbs of the petitioner from the disgruntled persons as per the complaint of the petitioner dated 24.02.2025.

This petition has been filed by the petitioner to direct the respondent police to give police protection to the petitioner's life and limb from the disgruntled persons as per the complaint of the petitioner dated 24.02.2025.
2. According to the petitioner, he is the owner of the property in Survey No.318/10A1 situated in Thenkarai Village Bit-I, Periyakulam Taluk. While so, the respondents no.3 to 9 without any right over the property causing disturbance to the petitioner from fencing the land. Therefore, the petitioner sent a representation dated 24.03.2025 to the 2nd respondent, but the same has not been considered. Hence this petition. Page No. 2 of 5

The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents no.1 and 2 would submit that the petitioner sent a representation through postal without mentioning the names of the persons who interfering with the petitioner's possession. However, the said representation is still pending and they will conduct enquiry and dispose of the same within fifteen days.
4. Considering the prayer sought for in the petition, this Court even without issuing notice to the respondents no.3 to 9 inclined to pass orders in this petition.
5. According to the petitioner, he sent a representation dated 24.02.2025 for police protection, but no action was taken by the 2nd respondent. The 2nd respondent has also admitted the receipt of the complaint, however, the complaint does not disclose the respondents. Since the representation of the petitioner is pending with the 2nd respondent, this Court directs the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 24.02.2025 and take appropriate action in accordance with law after affording an opportunity to both the parties within fifteen days from the date of this order. 6. With the above said observation and direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
