O R D E R

This petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondents to register a case under the provisions of Prevention of Anti Corruption Act, 1988 on the basis of the petitioner's complaint, dated 02.07.2018.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondents. 3.The complaint given to the Directorate of Vigilance and Anti Corruption against the District Revenue Officer, Karur alleging that he has raised wealth disproportionate to the known source of his income does not contain any specific facts for the Department to take up the matter for investigation. Hence, after receiving the complaint dated 02.07.2018, on 13.07.2018, the Director of Vigilance and Anti Corruption has referred the matter to the Collector, Karur District, since the allegations made in the petition are general in nature.

4.Going through the complaint, this Court also did not find any specific allegations against the concerned officer. Therefore, I do not find any reason to entertain this petition. However, if there is any specific material available to prove the said allegations against the said official, the Directorate of Vigilance and Anti-Corruption shall proceed with. 5.In the result, this criminal original petition is dismissed.
