O R D E R

This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the second respondent to complete the investigation and file a final report in Cr.No.231 of 2015 within the time stipulated by this Court.

2. The case of the petitioner is that he is the victim in the crime, upon which, a case in crime No.231 of 2015 for the offence under Sections 294(b), 323, 324 and 307 IPC was registered in the year 2015. In spite of that, final report has not been filed before the concerned Court.

3. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that final report was made ready and the same was presented before the Judicial Magistrate, Aranthangi, on 25.06.2016, but, the same was returned due to want of wound certificate and in the meantime, the concerned Doctor went abroad and therefore, the respondent Police are not in a position to get wound certificate in time. Further, a petition has been filed under Section 473 of Cr.P.C., before the Judicial Magistrate, Aranthangi, on 15.06.2021, seeking extension https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

Recording the submissions of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of, with a direction to the second respondent to file a final report before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Aranthangi, within one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
