Prayer : Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to call for the records pertaining to Crime No.71 of 2024 dated 07.02.2024 on the file of the Kenikkarai Police Station, Ramanathapuram District and quash the same.

The petitioner has filed this petition, seeking to quash the FIR in Crime No.71 of 2024 on the file of the first respondent police. 1/4

2.Today when the matter came up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the issue has been amicably resolved between the petitioner and the defacto complainant and on that ground, this Court may quash the FIR pending against him.

3.Since the offence under Section 380 of IPC is an offence as against the society, this Court is not inclined to quash the FIR as against the petitioner.
