This Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to issue separate patta to the petitioner for the property situated at Survey No.44/1 measuring to an extent of 6.5 cents situated at Sirukoodalpatti Village, Thiruppathur Taluk, Sivagangai District, by considering the petitioner's representation, dated 31.10.2022.

2. The case of the petitioner is that in the year 2009, the husband of the petitioner, purchased the petition mentioned property for valuable consideration. Subsequently, they have put up two tiled roof houses there and they are paying the house tax also. The grievance of the petitioner is that after the death of her husband, on 31.10.2022, the petitioner made a representation before the respondents seeking to issue patta in favour of the petitioner for the above said property. Since no action has been taken by the respondents, the petitioner has filed this writ petition with the aforesaid prayer.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

Considering the above facts, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, directs the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 31.10.2022 and pass appropriate orders, after providing opportunity to all the parties concerned, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
