No.02/CO/SVG/2024 dated 22.04.2024 and consequently direct the respondents to grant permission and necessary protection to perform the cultural programme (ie.) Adal Padal on the eve of Mulaipari Function of Elaikaththa Amman Temple situated at Keelapoongudi Village Sivagangai District which is to be held on 29.04.2024 from 7.00 pm to 10.00 pm.

O R D E R
The petitioner has filed this petition challenging the rejection order passed by the 3rd respondent vide his proceedings in Na.Ka.No.02/CO/SVG/2024 dated 22.04.2024 and for a consequential direction to the respondents to grant permission and necessary protection to perform the cultural programme (ie.) Adal Padal on the eve of Mulaipari Function of Elaikaththa Amman Temple situated at Keelapoongudi Village, Sivagangai District, to be held on 29.04.2024.
2. The petitioner has approached the authorities seeking permission to conduct Adal Padal in the village temple festival and it was rejected, based on the objections raised by the respondent police.
3. In view of the above, this Writ Petition is closed with liberty to the petitioner to approach the first respondent with a new proposal and the first respondent shall consider the possibility for any 2/4
law and order issue now and pass order within a period of one week. There shall be no order as to costs.
