2. The writ petitioners have applied for allotment of tenements under Kadaladi Taluk Sayalkudi Peruratchi 12th Nithikulu Thittam scheme.

3. The petitioners' case has already been recommended by the Tahsildar, Kadaladi. The Tamil Nadu Slum Clearance Board had also constructed the apartment complex and there are also vacancies. It is seen that the petitioners can very well be accommodated. But then, the recommendation made by the Tahsildar, Kadaladi, has to be endorsed by the District Collector, Ramanathapuram and only then, the allotment can be made by the Tamil Nadu Slum Clearance Board in favour of the petitioners herein. The first respondent is said to be the nodal officer. The petitioners have given representations on 19.02.2019.

4. The first respondent is directed to take a call in the matter by disposing of the petitioners' representations within a 2/3

3 W.P.(MD)NOs.10542 & 10715 OF 2020 period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The petitioners are ready to comply with the formalities that may be stipulated by the Tamil Nadu Slum Clearance Board.

5. With this direction to the first respondent, these writ petitions stand disposed of. No costs.
