The petitioner seeks issuance of writ of mandamus to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 28.11.2024 for issuance of patta in respect of half portions of the property comprised in Survey Nos.544/2, 544/3, 544/4 and 559/3 situated at A.Karisalkulam Village, Sankarankovil Taluk, Tenkasi District.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate for the official respondents.

The grievance of the petitioner is that the petitioner's father owned the subject property and after his demise, the property fell into two equal shares, one to the petitioner and another to the husband of the 4th respondent, who is the brother of the petitioner. However, the 4th respondent has proceeded to obtain patta in respect of the entire lands in her favour and in that regard, the petitioner has made a representation on 28.11.2024 to the 2nd respondent, who is the competent authority.

Considering the light of above, this writ petition is disposed of, directing the 2nd respondent to dispose of the petitioner's representation, dated 28.11.2024, after conducting due enquiry and affording an opportunity to the petitioner as well as the 4th responded and pass final orders within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
