ORDER

The petitioner has filed the present writ petition seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents 2 and 3 to conduct survey, based on the petitioner's application dated 18.10.2024 and a representation dated 23.12.2024.

2.I have heard Mr.K.Jayaraman, learned counsel for the petitioner, Mr.B.Saravanan, learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents 1 to 3 and Mr.S.Prakash, learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) for the fourth respondent.

3.The petitioner based on the Court decree as well as the patta in patta No.147 in favour of the petitioner has made an application for conducting survey to ascertain the four boundaries of the property. The said application has been filed on 18.10.2024 and necessary charges have also been remitted to the third respondent. Thereafter, the petitioner has given a representation on 23.12.2024 for disposing of the survey application.

4.Considering the limited relief sought for, with the consent of the learned counsel on both sides, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

5.The petitioner's survey application dated 18.10.2024 shall be disposed of by the respondents 2 and 3 and if necessary, with the aid of the fourth respondent, who shall be put on advance notice by the first respondent, in the event of the first respondent requiring police protection. The said exercise shall be completed within a period of 8 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 3/5

6.With the aforesaid directions, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
