ORDER

This revision is filed seeking for a direction to the Additional District Judge, Madurai to dispose of the H.M.O.P.No.1 of 2015 within a time frame.

2.Mr.Santhoskumar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner originally filed H.M.O.P.No.409 of 2011 before the III-Additional Sub Court, Aruppukkottai, against the respondent for divorce. Subsequently, at the instance of the respondent, the case was transferred from Aruppukkottai to the file of the Additional District Court, Madurai and re-numbered as H.M.O.P.No.1 of 2015. He further adds that the petitioner is working in Central Reserve Police force in north East States of India and he is unable to frequently visit his native place.

3.The learned counsel would further submit that the case is pending without any progress for the past 5 years, which causes prejudices to the rights of the petitioner.

4. Considering the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner and without going into the merits of the case, this Court directs the Additional District Judge, Madurai, to dispose of H.M.O.P.No.1 of 2015 as expeditiously as possible, preferably on or before 31.12.2016.

5. With the above direction, this petition is disposed of. No Costs.
