This writ petition has been filed praying for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the third respondent to give adequate police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner and also to the other members attached with Mohideen Andavar Pallivasal at Chennagarampatti, Melur Taluk, Madurai District, on the basis of the petitioner's complaint dated 30.07.2020.
2. Today, when the petition is came up for hearing, Mr.S.Chandrasekar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, appearing for the respondents 1 to 3, on instructions, would submit that on receipt of the complaint dated 30.07.2020, given by the petitioner, the third respondent herein initiated an enquiry in C.S.R.No.247 of 2020 and the same is pending on his file. He would further submit https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
W.P.(MD)No.10680 of 2020 that during the time of enquiry, if it is found that protection is required, sufficient action will be taken.
3. Recording the above said submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the Writ Petition stands closed. No costs.
