RESPONDENT/RESPONDENT/COMPLAINANT Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the petition filed therewith the High Court will be pleased to Extend the time to surrender in the Anticipatory Bail as provided by this Honourable Court in Crl.O.P.(MD) No.6474 of 2020 dated 23/06/2020.

Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of MR. M.MARAN, Advocate for the petitioner and of MR.K.SUYAMBULINGA BHARATHI, Government Advocate(Crl. Side) on behalf of the Respondent, the court made the following order:- This petition has been filed to extend the time granted by this Court.

2. This Court, by an order dated 23.06.2020 in Crl.OP.(MD) No.6474 of 2020, directed the petitioner to appear before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Periyakulam, within a period of 15 days.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that due to pandemic situation he was not able to surrender the sureties before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Periyakulam, within the prescribed time.

4. Heard the learned Government Advocate (criminal side) appearing for the respondent police.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances, time is extended by Two weeks from today and the petitioner is directed to surrender before the Court below on or before 15.09.2020 and also directed to deposit a sum of Rs.5,000/-(Rupees Five Thousand Only) to the credit of the Advocate Clerks' Association, Pattukkottai (Bank of India, Pattukkottai Branch, Saving Account No.814610110009887, IFSC Code: BKID0008146 ) without prejudice to his rights and contention before the trial Court.
