The revised panel for the year 2015 for the post of Tahsildar is put under challenge in the present writ petition. 2.
The petitioner herein has given her objections / representation, dated 29.04.2022 to the panel, before various Authorities including the District Collector, Virudhunagar, seeking for revision of the panel. The grounds raised in the writ petition 1/3
is predominantly similar to the grounds raised in the representation given to the District Collector for revision of the panel. When such a representation is pending consideration, it would not be appropriate for this Court to parallelly adjudicate such grounds.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that he would be satisfied if the District Collector, is called upon to dispose of the petitioner's representation, within a stipulated time.
4. Pending the writ petition, the petitioner had the benefit of an interim order to the effect that she shall not be reverted from the post of Deputy Tahsildar. I am of the view that if the District Collector, is called upon to dispose of the representation, within a stipulated time and the petitioner's post is protected till such time, the ends of justice could be secured.
5. In the result, no interference is required to the impugned order of promotion panel, dated 09.05.2022. However, there shall be a direction to the District Collector, Virudhunagar, to dispose of the petitioner's representation, dated 29.04.2022, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Till such time, the respondents shall not revert the petitioner from the post of Deputy Tahsildar.
6.
This writ petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. Sd/- Assistant Registrar (CS I) // True Copy // /06/2022 Sub Assistant Registrar(CS) TM To 1.The Secretary to Government/ Commissioner of Revenue Administration, Chepauk, Chennai - 5.
