ORDER

This Revision is filed seeking for a direction to the Family Court, Madurai to expedite the trial and dispose of H.M.O.P.No.751 of 2014 within a time frame.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and perused the records.

3. Mr.D.S.Haroon Rasheed, learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner filed H.M.O.P.No.751 of 2014 against the respondent for divorce on the ground of cruelty. It is further submitted that the respondent has already filed counter and now the case is ready for trial.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner would further submit that the respondent filed I.A.No.287 of 2015 for interim alimony and the same was allowed. Now the petitioner is paying interim alimony to the respondent. Despite the same, the respondent has been prolonging the litigation deliberately. It is further submitted that the delay in disposal of this case causes undue hardship and mental agony to the petitioner.

5. Considering the said submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner and without going into the merits of the case, the learned Judge, Family Court, Madurai is directed to dispose of https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

H.M.O.P.751 of 2014 as expeditiously as possible, preferably on or before 31.12.2016.

6. Accordingly, the Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. No costs.
