ORDER

The present Contempt Petition has been filed alleging violation of the orders of this Court dated 30.10.2024 made in W.P(MD) No.26055 of 1/4

2024, wherein this Court had directed the first respondent therein to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order.

2. Pending contempt petition, the appeal preferred by the petitioner has been disposed of on 28.03.2025 and the learned counsel appearing for the contempt petitioner also acknowledges the said fact.

3. Due to non-appearance of the contemnor, statutory notice was issued for his appearance today. Since he is around 90 years old, the learned counsel appearing for the contemnor submits that due to his old age and illness he could not appear and he seeks exemption.

4. Considering the age and also the fact that the order of this Court has been complied with, his further presence is dispensed with. 2/4

5. In view of the above said facts, this Contempt Petition is closed with liberty to the petitioner to challenge the order dated 28.03.2025, if he is so advised.
