O R D E R

[Order of the Court was made by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM, J.] With reference to the relief sought for in the present writ petition, the learned Additional Government Pleader on instructions would submit that action was initiated to remove the encroachers from the entire street including the petitioner.

2.It is brought to the notice of this Court that several other encroachers were identified and notice to those encroachers were also issued under the provisions of the Tamil Nadu Land Encroachment Act. 2/5

3.Since action has been initiated by the competent authorities to remove the encroachers from the street, this Court directs the second respondent to complete the said exercise within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
