Prayer : Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to issue suitable direction to the second and third respondents herein not to harass the petitioners and on the guise of the enquiry based on the representation dated 25.02.2023 given by the petitioners.

ORDER

The petitioners with an allegation that the second and third respondents are harassing them under the guise of an enquiry, have approached this Court.

2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the official respondents submits that based on the complaint given by the fourth respondent, a case in Cr.No.9 of 2023 has been registered against the petitioners for the offence punishable under Sections 498(A), 294(b), 506(1) IPC and Section 4 of the Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act, 2002.

3.In view of the aforesaid submission, nothing survives in this petition for further direction. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is closed. The petitioners are at liberty to workout their remedy in the manner known to law.
