PRAYER : Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code, to call for the records relating to the impugned FIR in Crime No.92 of 2023 dated 28.02.2023 on the file of the 1st Respondent and quash the same as against the Petitioners. ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking orders to call for the records relating to the impugned FIR in Crime No.92 of 2023 dated 28.02.2023 on the file of the 1st Respondent and quash the same as against the Petitioners.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 would submit that investigation is completed and Final Report is also filed before the Special Court for Communal Violence, Dindigul West, on 28.02.2023 and it was taken cognizance in Spl.S.C.No.33 of 2023, which is also pending for service of summon to the accused. 2/4

3. In view of the above said development, this matter has become infructuous. If the petitioners are aggrieved over the contents of the above said Final Report, they can workout their remedy through appropriate proceedings.

4. In the result, this Criminal Original petition stands dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. 12.06.2023 NCC :
