This criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to direct the second respondent to give adequate police protection to the petitioner life and limb and also the property measuring an extent of one cent land situated at Vayalseri, Karuppananatty, Sivagangai District.

2.Today, when the petition is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (crl.side) appearing for the respondents 1 and 2, on instructions, would submit that the complaint of the petitioner has been received by the second respondent and based on which, an enquiry has been initiated in C.No.N4/15373/1232/PS/2020, dated 04.08.2020 and during enquiry, if it is found protection is required, suitable action will be taken.

3. Recording the same, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
