For Respondent : Mr.RMS.Sethuraman, Additional Public Prosecutor PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec.438 of Cr.P.C PRAYER :- For Anticipatory bail in Crime No.173 of 2022 on the file of the Respondent Police ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioners/A1 and A2 who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offence under Sections 294(b), 353, 506(i) of IPC in Cr.No.173 of 2022, on the file of the respondent police, seek anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that due to the dispute regarding collection of rent, the petitioners abused the defacto complainant, assaulted him and also threatened with dire consequences.

3.There is specific overt act as against the petitioners/A1 and A2. Under these circumstances, if the petitioners are enlarged on bail there is possibility of tampering the witness and hampering the investigation.

CRL OP(MD). No.9640 of 2022 the petition stands dismissed. However the respondent police is directed to arrest the petitioners and produce them before this Court on 26.05.2022 at 10.30 a.m, without fail.
