Karakattam on 01.05.2015, Adal Padal Dance Programme on 02.05.2015 and Vallithirumana Drama on 03.05.2015 in the festival of Arulmigu Sri Kaliamman, Sri Mariamman, Sri Pambalamman Kovil situated at T.Thulukkampatti, K.Pudukottai Village, Ponnambalampatti Post, Vaiyampatti via, Manaparai Taluk, Trichy District and pass such further or other orders.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for the issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to grant appropriate Police Protection with due permission in order to perform the cultual programme (ie.) Karakattam on 01.05.2015, Adal Padal Dance Programme on 02.05.2015 and Vallithirumana Drama on 03.05.2015 in the festival of Arulmigu Sri Kaliamman, Sri Mariamman, Sri Pambalamman Kovil situated at T.Thulukkampatti, K.Pudukottai Village, Ponnambalampatti Post, Vaiyampatti via, Manaparai Taluk, Trichy District.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

3. Mr.R.Karthikeyan, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, on instructions, would submit that if permission is granted, that would lead to serious law and order problem. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. Even though the petitioner has sought for a larger relief, taking into consideration of the pending representation, a direction is issued to the respondent No.2 to pass appropriate orders on the representation of the petitioner, dated 13.04.2015 on merits and in accordance with law within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording an opportunity of hearing of all the parties concerned.

5. The Writ Petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
