The petitioner had earlier filed Crl.O.P.(MD)No.2785 of 2021 for directing the Inspector of Police, Shencottai Police Station to accord protection for carrying out the petition mentioned activity. By order dated 23.02.2021, the Inspector of Police, Shenkottai Police Station was directed to dispose of the petitioner's representation on merits. 2. Even though directions have been given to the respondent, I fail to understand as to how the representation can be disposed by the Inspector of Police when it concerns civil rights. The parties will have to work out their rights only before the jurisdictional Civil Court. The Inspector of Police cannot be expected to do anything in the matter. Leaving open the petitioner's right to move the jurisdictional Court, this Contempt Petition is closed.
