O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to remove the petitioner's name in History sheet in H.S.No. 116/2013 maintained by the 4th respondent, based on the representation of the petitioner dated 14.03.2025 in accordance with law within time stipulated by this Court.

2.According to the petitioner, the fourth respondent maintained history sheet as against the petitioner in HS No. 116/2013, without conducting periodical review in terms of Police Stating Order

746. For the last 5 years, the petitioner has not involved in any case. However, the fourth respondent maintained history sheet against the petitioner, therefore, he has sent a representation on 14.03.2025 to remove his name in the History sheet, but the same has not been considered. Hence, this petition.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police appearing for the respondent police would submit that the fourth respondent maintained history sheet in HS No. 116 of 2013 against the petitioner due to his previous cases. However, the representation of the petitioner is under consideration before the first respondent and the same will be considered in accordance with law. 4.Considering the prayer of the petitioner and the representation of the petitioner is pending with the first respondent, this Court hereby directs the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner and act in accordance with law within a period of one month from the date of this order.

5.With the above observations and directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of.
