This criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to direct the second respondent police not to harass the petitioner and his family members under the guise of enquiry. 2.Heard the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 and perused the materials placed on record. 3.When the petition is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (crl.side) appearing for the respondents 1 and 2, on instructions, would submit that on receipt of the complaint given by the third respondent, the second respondent police conducted an enquiry and registered a case in Crime No.25 of 2020 for the offence punishable under Sections 498A and 506(i) of https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

Crl.O.P.(MD)No.9199 of 2020 I.P.C., against the petitioner.

4.In the said circumstances, once a regular First Information Report has been registered, the question of 'not to harass' will not arise. Hence, if any direction is issued at this stage, it will amount to interfere with the investigation conducted by the respondents police.

5. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
