Respondents This Writ Petition has been filed praying for a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st respondent to issue proper notice to the 6th respondent and to consider the Petitioner's representation dated on 07.04.2015 within a time frame that may be stipulated by this Honourable Court and directing the 1st Respondent to grant patta in favour of the petitioner name bearing Survey Number 143/1 on the file of the Senthattiyendhal Group, Manamadurai Taluk, Sivagangai District. ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed praying for a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st Respondent to issue proper notice to the 6th respondent and to consider the Petitioner's representation dated on 07.04.2015 within a time frame and directing the 1st respondent to grant patta in favour of the petitioner's name bearing Survey Number 143/1, on the file of the Senthattiyendhal Group, Manamadurai Taluk, Sivagangai District.

2. Mrs.Bharathi, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents.

3. By consent, this Writ Petition itself is taken up final disposal.

4. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that though this Writ Petition has been filed praying for a larger relief, it would be suffice if the representation of the petitioner is disposed of on merits and in accordance with law within the time stipulated by this Court.

5. The learned counsel appearing for the respondents has no objection in considering the request of the petitioner.

6. In view of the above-said submission of the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner in this Writ Petition, the (*)first respondent is directed to pass appropriate orders on the representation of the petitioner, dated 07.04.2015, on merits and in accordance with law, after giving notice to the interested parties, if any, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
