ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for the issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to give permission and protection to the "Adal Padal Programme" in the event of festival of Kasiyapuram Sree Nainar Kovil at Nainar Kovil Street, Kasiyapuram, Alankulam Taluk, Tirunelveli District on 02.05.2015.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

3. Mr.R.Karthikeyan, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, on instructions, would submit that if permission is granted, that would lead to serious law and order problem.

4. Even though the petitioner has sought for a larger relief, taking into consideration of the pending representation, a direction is issued to the respondent No.2 to pass appropriate orders on the representation of the petitioner, dated 07.04.2015 on merits and in accordance with law within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording an opportunity of hearing of all the parties concerned.
