Prayer in CRL OP(MD).NO.6776 OF 2018:- This Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., to call for records and set aside the final report filed by the 4th respondent and taken on file as C.C.No.222/2010 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate No.I. Madurai and set aside the same and further direct the 1st respondent to conduct reinvestigation in Cr.No.1633/2009 on the file of the 4th Respondent by transferring the same to the 2nd respondent and to file a final report by altering the provision under Sections 406,420,120(b) of IPC and Section 5 of Tamil Nadu Protection of Interest of Depositors ( In Financial Establishments) Act 1997 and file the final report afresh before the Special Court under Tamil Nadu Protection of Interest Depositors (In Financial Establishments) Act Madurai, within a stipulate period.
ORDER:- This Criminal Miscellaneous Petition coming on for orders on this day and upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Mr.S.Chandrasekar, Additional Public Prosecutor, for petitioner and of M/s.J.Jeyakumaran,Advocate for R4 to R19,and this Court made the following order:
This petition is filed to extend the time granted by this Court in Crl.M.P(MD) SR No.11404 of 2019 in Crl.O.P(MD) No.6776 of 2018 for a further period of six months to complete the investigation in Crime No.01 of 2020 pending on the file of the Deputy Superintendent of Police, CBCID-OCU, Madurai.
2.Being satisfied with the reasons stated in the accompanying affidavit, this petition is ordered and a further period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order is granted to complete the investigation in Crime No.1 of 2020.
