ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to transfer the proceedings in C.M.P.No.5014 of 2018 in M.C.No.2 of 2012 pending on the file of the Judicial Magistrate, Palladam to Judicial Magistrate, Nilakottai.

2.When this Court questioned the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner with regard to the jurisdiction of this Court to entertain this transfer petition, the learned counsel would submit that he may be permitted to withdraw this petition with liberty to file a fresh petition for transfer before the Principal Bench at Chennai and he made such an endorsement.

3.Permission sought for by the petitioner is granted. While granting such liberty and disposing of this Criminal Original Petition, this Court directs the Registry not to number any transfer petition where the transfer sought for is from the Court, which falls within the jurisdiction of Principal Seat at Madras. Only the transfer petitions, where the Subordinate Court falls within the jurisdiction of Madurai Bench can be numbered and posted before this Court. Registry is directed to follow this direction strictly in future, while numbering the transfer petitions.
