RESPONDENT Petition filed praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the petition filed therewith the High Court may be pleased to extend further time to execute the surety and comply the conditions imposed by this Honourable Court order dated 31/03/2021 in Crl.O.P.(MD) No.491 of 2021 in Crime No. 18 of 2020 on the file of the Inspector of Police, District Crime Branch, Thoothukudi District.

Order : This petition coming up for orders on this day, upon perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Mr.RAJA.KARTHIKEYAN, Advocate for the petitioner and of Mr.M.MUTHUMANIKKAM, Government Advocate on behalf of the Respondent, the Court made the following order:- The petition has been filed to extend the time granted by this court in Crl.O.P(MD)No.491 of 2021 dated 31.03.2021, for producing the sureties and for executing the bail bond.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is unable to arrange sureties and could not surrender before the concerned Magistrate and execute the bail bond within a stipulated time as ordered by this Court. 3. Heard the learned Government Advocate(Criminal Side) appearing for the State.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also considering the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner and also the prevailing COVID-19 pandemic situation this petition is allowed and the time for producing the sureties is extended by two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order as a last chance.
