ORDER

Invoking the provisions of Article 227 of the Constitution of India, the petitioners have approached this Court with this Civil Revision Petition, seeking a direction to the learned Principal District Munsif, Kumbakonam to dispose of O.S.No.513 of 2012 as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a time, which may be fixed by this Court.

2. Heard Mr.T.R. Subramanian, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and perused the averments of the grounds of the Civil Revision Petition.

It appears that the revision petitioners herein, who are the defendants, have filed a suit in O.S.No.513 of 2012 and the same has been pending for the past three years without assigning any valid reason and therefore, the petitioners being the defendants have approached this Court by way of this Civil Revision Petition.

4. Having been taken into consideration of the related facts and circumstances, this Court is of view that in the interest of Justice it may be expedient to issue a direction to the trial Court, as sought for by the petitioners. Accordingly, this Civil Revision Petition is allowed. The learned Principal District Munsif, Kumbakonam is hereby https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

directed to dispose the suit in O.S.No.513 of 2012, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, without loss of further time. However, there shall be no order as to costs. Sd/- Assistant Registrar /True copy/ Sub Assistant Registrar To 1.
