(Crime No.683 of 2018) : Respondents PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C., to direct the respondents to secure the accused persons 1.Gopalakrishnan, 2.Jeyalakshmi, 3.Vijayarajan, 4.Sakkarai, 5.Kumar S/o.Meenatchi and 6.Antony who were violated and gave life threat to the petitioner and his family in connection with Crime No.683 of 2018 under Sections 406, 415, 420 & 506(2) IPC which is still pending before the second respondent.

ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to secure the accused persons, who have violated and gave life threat to the petitioner and his family in connection with Crime No.683 of 2018 under Section 406, 415, 420 & 506(2) IPC.
2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that on complaint given by the petitioner, case has been registered against the accused under Sections 406, 415, 420 & 506(2) IPC. He would further submit that the petitioner is a retired Sub-Inspector of Police and his son is also working in the Police Department. The marriage between the petitioner's son and one Revathi was solemnized on 01.06.2012 and that the petitioner had put his son as separate family in a house bearing door No.1, Chockalinganagar, which is owned by one Vijayalakshmi. He would further submit that subsequently some dispute arose between the petitioner's son and his daughter-in-law and she went to her parental home and the petitioner vacated the house and he approached the house owner for return of the lease amount. However, the said Vijayalakshmi wantonly drag the time with bad intention of cheating the petitioner. Thereby on the complaint given by the petitioner, case was registered in Crime No.683 of 2018. Vijayalakshmi had obtained anticipatory bail whereas the respondent Police are not taking action to secure the other accused so far. 3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the respondent Police is taking effective steps. 4.Recording the above submission, this Criminal Original Petition stands closed.
