ORDER
The Criminal Revision is directed against the order passed in Crl.M.P.No.1711 of 2023 in C.A.No.41 of 2023, dated 31.03.2023, on the file of the learned Principal District and Sessions Judge, Virudhunagar District at Srivilliputtur, suspending the sentence. 1/4
2. The learned Principal Sessions Judge has passed the impugned order in Crl.M.P.No.1711 of 2023, filed under Section 389(1) of Cr.P.C., seeking suspension of sentence and in that order, the petitioner was directed to deposit a sum of Rs.2,00,000/- (20% of the compensation amount) before the trial Court within a month.
3. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that it would suffice that two weeks further time may be granted to deposit the amount as directed by the trial Court.
4. Considering the above, the petitioner is directed to deposit a sum of Rs.2,00,000/- on or before 15.05.2023. Accordingly, the Criminal Revision is disposed of. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
