ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for the issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents herein to grant permission and give necessary police protection for conducting cultural activities, traditional dance and songs on 06.05.2015 for the completion of festival of Arulmighu Sri Mariamman Kovil at Pachamalai, Ramanathapuram Village, Kinathoor Post, Thuraiyur Taluk, Trichy District based on the petitioner's representation, dated 08.04.2015.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.
3. Mr.R.Karthikeyan, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, on instructions, would submit that if permission is granted, that would lead to serious law and order problem.
4. Even though the petitioner has sought for a larger relief, taking into consideration of the pending representation, a direction is issued to the respondent No.2 to pass appropriate orders on the representation of the petitioner, dated 08.04.2015 on merits and in https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
accordance with law within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording an opportunity of hearing of all the parties concerned.
5. The Writ Petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
