Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to not grant any new permit to the route no.3 in the 1st respondent Gazette notification dated 13.03.2026 and resurvey the above said route by consider the petitioners representation dated 17.03.2026 and pass such other or further orders as this Honble Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of this case and thus render justice.

ORDER

The writ petition is filed for a mandamus directing the respondents to not grant any new permit to the route no.3 in the 1st respondent Gazette notification dated 13.03.2026 and resurvey the above said route by consider the petitioner's representation dated 17.03.2026.

2. Heard Mr.T.Padmanabhan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.M.Lingadurai, learned Special Government Pleader, who takes notice on behalf of the respondents.

3. When the matter came up for hearing today, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the Gazette Notification dated 13.03.2026 contains different routes. With respect to Route No. 3, identified by the petitioner, which runs from Mangapuram to Kaleeswari, it was stated that the petitioner has no concern with this route. The petitioner's interest is confined solely to the R.R. Nagar to Mudalipatti route, indicated as Item 5 on Page 2 of the aforementioned Gazette Notification. Moreover, the jurisdictional authorities for each of these routes are distinct .

4. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner will submit a fresh representation mentioning the correct route before the appropriate jurisdictional authority and the same shall be directed to be considered accordingly

5. In view thereof, this writ petition disposed of on the following terms:- i. Within one week from the date of receipt of a web copy of the order, without waiting for the certified copy of the order, the petitioner will be entitled to make fresh representation correctly mentioning the route in which the petitioner is aggrieved. ii. As and when the same is presented, the jurisdictional authority shall consider the same on its own merits and in accordance with law.

iii. No costs.
