O R D E R

This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents not to harass the petitioner under the guise of enquiry.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that based on the complaint given by one Jinna Ifran, who is the 7th respondent herein, against the petitioner, enquiry was undertaken in CSR No.156 of 2021 and based upon that enquiry, First Information Report was registered against this petitioner and one Ramanathan, in Crime No.124 of 2021, for the offences punishable under Sections 294(b) and 506(i) IPC on 29.06.2021.

3. Once the FIR has been registered against the petitioner, then, the question of harassment does not arise and she has to face the investigation. It is open to the petitioner to work out her remedy before the appropriate forum by appropriate proceedings.

4. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
