COMMON ORDER By this common order all the writ petitions are being disposed of.

2. The writ petition (W.P(MD).No.9212 of 2026) has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to grant time to playing the Mini Bus in the granted permit under the New Comprehensive Scheme by considering the petitioner's representation dated 21.03.2026.

3. Heard Mr.T.Padmanabhan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.M.Lingadurai, learned Special Government Pleader, who takes notice on behalf of the respondents.

4. When the matter came up for hearing today, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that a total of four permits had been granted to the petitioner. Out of these, the petitioner had submitted the application within time only in respect of one permit, which has been processed in relation to the present three matters. The time prescribed for filing applications in respect of the remaining permits expired on 01.04.2026.

5. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the order was served on the petitioner only on 24.03.2026. Be that as it may, it was contended that the delay pertains solely to the lapse of time, and it was further represented that, if the petitioner submits a fresh application, the same would be considered.

6. In view thereof, the writ petition is disposed of on the following terms:- i. Within one week from the date of receipt of a web copy of the order, without waiting for the certified copy of the order, the petitioner shall make a fresh application and the same shall be considered and permission shall be granted to the petitioner to apply the minibus in accordance with law as per the permit that is already granted.

ii. The said exercise shall be completed within a period of four weeks therefrom.

iii. No costs. Consequently, W.P(MD).Nos.9213 and 9214 of 2026 stands disposed of.
