ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed praying for a Writ of Mandamus directing the first Respondent to dispose and pass orders on the petitioner appeal Na.Ka.C.3/4739/2014 dated 05.03.2014 which was filed under patta pass book act within the reasonable time which may be fixed by this Honourable Court.

2. Mr.N.Manoharan, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the official respondents.

3. By consent, this Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

4. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that it would be suffice if the appeal of the petitioner is disposed of on merits and in accordance with law within the time stipulated by this Court.

6. In view of the above, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, the second respondent is directed to pass

appropriate orders on the appeal of the petitioner, dated 05.03.2014, after giving notice to the interested parties, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
