O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner for issuing writ of mandamus directing the District Collector/respondent herein, Dindigul not to continue the disciplinary proceedings initiated in charge memo No.7614/2011/A1 dated 21.02.2012 till the end of the Criminal case pending in SPL CC No.20 of 2012 on the file of the Special Judge for Trial of cases under Prevention of Corruption Act, Madurai.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent would submit that the departmental proceedings have already been completed and the authorities concerned has to pass final orders.

3. In view of the said submissions, the relief sought by the petitioner cannot be granted. Therefore, the writ petition is dismissed. However, the respondent is directed to pass final orders on the above said disciplinary proceedings within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order on merits and https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

in accordance with law. No costs. Consequently, connected M.P.(MD) Nos.1 and 2of 2014 are closed.
