PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. praying to direct the fourth respondent police not to harass the petitioner and his wife in the matter of G.Arunkrishnamoorthy. For Petitioner : M/s.S.Devasena For R1 to R4 : Mr.K.K.Ramakrishnan, Additional Public Prosecutor.

ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, directing the fourth respondent not to harass the petitioner, based on the complaint given by the fifth respondent.

2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 to 4 would submit that the petitioner has not appeared for the enquiry. If the petitioner co-operates with the enquiry, the same will be completed within a period of two weeks. 3.In response to the aforesaid submission, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner undertakes that he will co-operate with the enquiry, as and when received summons from the respondents.

4.Considering the above circumstances, this Court is inclined to pass the following order:- (i) The petitioner shall appear before the respondents on receipt of summons from the respondents.

(ii) Thereafter, the respondents shall complete the enquiry, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the above directions.
