*********** Mr.S.Chandrasekar, learned Government Advocate, takes notice for the respondent. By consent, the Writ Petition is taken up for disposal at the stage of admission itself.

2. The petitioner has come forward to file the present Writ Petition seeking a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to dispose of his revision petition pending on the file of the District Revenue Officer in Case No.10112/2011/B6, filed against the order dated 24.11.2006 in Na.Ka.No.8805/06/A1, passed by the Revenue Divisional Officer, Palani.

3. Challenging the order of the Revenue Divisional Officer, Palani, dated 24.11.2006, the petitioner preferred a revision in Case No.10112/2011/B6, as early as in the year 2010. Since no action has been taken, the petitioner is before this Court.

4. Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for by the petitioner and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, a direction is issued to the respondent to consider the revision of the petitioner in case No.10112/2011/B6, and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, after issuing to the parties concerned within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
