ORDER

The petitioner challenges the order of the third respondent dated 30.07.2024 including the name of the fourth respondent in the joint patta standing in the individual name of the petitioner. 2.The grievance of the petitioner is that inclusion of the fourth respondent name was without notice or any enquiry being conducted.

However, Mrs.Jeyapriya, learned Government Advocate would invite my attention to the enquiry notice issued by the Revenue Divisional Officer acting upon the request of the fourth respondent for removing the name of the writ petitioner in the patta No.2722 since the Revenue Divisional Officer is already enquiring into the matter, though at the instance of the third respondent to remove the name of the petitioner in patta No.2722.

4. I am inclined to set aside the 2/5

order impugned in the writ petition and direct the Revenue Divisional Officer, Sattur to afford an opportunity to the petitioner as well as the fourth respondent and dispose of the pending application of the fourth respondent on merits, in accordance with law. Subject to the final decision of the Revenue Divisional Officer, Sattur, mutation of patta/inclusion/removal of names shall be accordingly carried out. The Revenue Divisional Officer, Sattur shall conclude and pass final orders, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. The writ petition is allowed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
