ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by R.SUDHAKAR,J.) It is the case of the petitioner that the agricultural lands are converting into housing plots for which sanction has been given by the competent authority illegally.
2.The said averment of the petitioner has been denied by the Deputy Director of Town and Country Planning in his undated counter affidavit that the entire Sankarankovil municipal area has been declared as local planning area and detailed development plan 4 has been approved under Section 33(2) of the Tamil Nadu Town and Country Planning Act and the same has been published in Government gazettee No.6, Part VI, dated 15.02.2012 and housing lay out has been approved in accordance with the above proceedings.
3.In view of the above, we find that the relief sought for by the petitioner in this writ petition is baseless and it is a motivated writ petition and it seems to be abuse of process of Court for personal benefit. The writ petition is dismissed accordingly. No costs. Consequently, M.P.(MD)Nos.1 to 3 of 2014 are closed.
