ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed praying for a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st respondent to consider the objections of the petitioner by way of a representation dated 04.04.15 before considering the grant of renewal of F.L.3 licence No.21 of 20002001 in favour of the 2nd respondent for the possession of liquor and supply within the licensed premises at Hotel Gowri Tourist Home No.17-2-16, Kanavai Patti Road, Batlagundu Town, Nilakottai Taluk, Dindigul District.

2. Mr.Muthukarppan, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the first respondent.

3. By consent, this Writ Petition itself is taken up final disposal.

4. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that it would be suffice if the representation of the petitioner is disposed of on merits and in accordance with law within the time stipulated by this Court.

5. The learned counsel appearing for the respondents has no objection in considering the request of the petitioner.

6. In view of the above, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner in this Writ Petition, the first respondent is directed to pass appropriate orders on the representation of the petitioner, dated 04.04.2015, on merits and in accordance with law, after giving notice to the second respondent and also affording an opportunity of hearing to both the parties, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
