O R D E R

The petitioner seeks issuance of writ of mandamus to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 09.09.2024 to rectify the errors which according to the petitioner have occurred during UDR. The petitioner consequently seeks issuance of patta in the name of Naatamai Uzhiyam in respect of Survey Nos.154/4 (6.85 acres) and Survey No.155/9 (1.24 acres) in Malayakoundanpatti Village, Nilakottai, Dindigul District.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader for the official respondents.

3. Considering the fact that the petitioner only seeks consideration of his representation for correction of UDR records, this writ petition is disposed of, 2/4

directing the 2nd respondent to conduct due enquiry, hear the petitioner as well as other interested parties and pass final orders on the petitioner's request for rectification of errors vide application, dated 09.09.2024, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. Subject to the findings in the enquiry proceedings, necessary follow up action, if necessary, shall be carried out in the revenue records.

4. With the above directions, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
