Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents herein to grant permission and protection to conduct the 'Aadalum Paadalum' dance programme on 05.08.2018 in pursuant to the Aadi Festival of Arulmighu Sri Mavayalkattu Amman Temple, the above said programme is to be conducted at Keelathaniyam Post, Ponnamaravathy Taluk, Pudukkottai District, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 02.07.2018 and 12.07.2018.

ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondents herein to grant permission and protection to conduct the 'Aadalum Paadalum' dance programme on 05.08.2018 in pursuant to the Aadi Festival of Arulmighu Sri Mavayalkattu Amman Temple, at Keelathaniyam Post, Ponnamaravathy Taluk, Pudukkottai District, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 02.07.2018 and 12.07.2018.

2.According to the petitioner, the petitioner has made the representations dated 02.07.2018 and 12.07.2018 to the second respondent praying to grant permission and protection to conduct the 'Aadalum Paadalum' dance programme on 05.08.2018, but sofar, no order has been passed by the second respondent. Hence, the writ petitioner is before this Court.

3.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the petitioner has made the representations on individual capacity and therefore, the present writ petition is not maintainable.

4.By accepting the submission of the learned Additional Government Pleader, this writ petition is dismissed as not maintainable. It is for the concerned persons can seek permission from the respondents by submitting a representation. Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed. No costs.
