ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by T.S.SIVAGNANAM, J.] Heard Mr.A.C.Asaithambi, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner; and Mr.Veera Kathiravan, learned Senior Government Counsel for Mr.A.K.Manickam, learned Government Counsel appearing for the respondents 1 to 5.

2. The writ petitioner filed this writ petition to reconsider and open the Direct Purchase Centre (DPC) No.878 at Elaikadividuthi, Karambakudi Taluk in Pudukottai District.

3. Earlier another person filed a writ petition to renovate and reopen the Direct Purchase Centre. The writ petition was disposed of by us, by order dated 17.06.2021, making certain observations. Now the second writ petition is filed stating that the decision should be reconsidered.

4. We are not here to advise the Authorities as to where the District Purchase Centre has to be located. From the submissions made before this Court, it appears that there is certain other reasons which are not genuine. Therefore, if the petitioners do not want the District Purchase Centre and some other people will be benefitted by locating the purchase centre elsewhere, we leave it to the decision of the Authorities and at the instance of the petitioner, we cannot pass any order.

5. Therefore, the writ petition stands dismissed and earlier order dated 17.06.2021, in W.P(MD).No.10200 of 2021, passed by this Court will stand. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
