Respondents PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, seeking direction to direct the respondent Nos.1 to 3 to remove the encroachments made by the fourth respondent in the Government lands Valanthur Kanmai Odai Purambokku land and direct the respondent Nos.1 to 3 to take action against the fourth respondent for illegal activities committed by him.

[Order of the Court was made by K.K.SASIDHARAN, J.] https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ The petitioner filed this writ petition to direct the second respondent to take action against the fourth respondent and remove

the encroachment stated to have been made in Valanthur Kanmai Odai Purambokku land.

2.We direct the Tahsildar, Usilampatti Taluk, the second respondent herein to inspect the land in question in the presence of the petitioner and the fourth respondent. Notice shall be given to the fourth respondent atleast one week before the date of inspection. The Tahsildar is directed to conduct a survey of the alleged encroachment in question and decide the representation submitted by the petitioner, dated 22.04.2014 on merits and as per law. Such exercise shall be completed within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
